How to fit a bra

braIf you are more than flat chested, you don’t have to hoist those puppies up in a plain boring bra any more. If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Your breasts deserve to be sexy, sassy and well.. hot! Treat them to fine lace, leopard print or satin! Small breasted women have always worn the sexiest lingerie made and frankly it’s pretty easy to get the size right. Larger breasts not only need the right size around the body, they need a bra for their own breast shape.

It’s true that the larger your breasts are, the more difficult it is to find a bra that fits well. Sometimes the underwire pinches or doesn’t feel right or there’s more of you than the bra can hold and you have spillout at the top. So for you, make sure you get the right size to begin with.

It begins with knowing what size you really are. Don’t guess. Get a soft tape measure and stand in front of a mirror and starting at the center, pass the tape measure around your body to be even just underneath your breasts. This is your band size.

Next, move the tape up to your armpits and measure above your breasts. Write that number down on a piece of paper. Now, measure your breast at nipple level, where you stick out most. Subtract the number you wrote down from the nipple-around-and-back measurement, and voila! Now you can figure your cup size!

Look below for the difference between the two numbers and that’s your cup size and remember, it’s not about numbers, it’s about looking good and feeling comfortable while you’re incredibly sexy!

0 to 1/2″ AA cup
1/2″ to 1″ A cup
1″ to 2 1/2″ B cup
2 1/2″ to 3 1/2″ C cup
3 1/2″ to 4 1/2″ D cup
4 1/2″ to 6″ DD (or E cup for some bras)
6″ to 7″ DDD (or F cup for some bras)
7″ to 8″ G cup
8″ to 9″ GG cup
9″ to 10″ H cup
10″ to 11″ HH cup
11″ to 12″ J cup
12″ to 13″ JJ cup

Gimme more windy days

who thought looking up a skirt could be this much fun
Nothing better than a great bum - more windy days, please!

Shaving — down there

Ever since I was a young woman I have always tried to keep my pubic hair nicely trimmed. It wasn’t until I was older than most of you that it became fashionable to go Brazillian - shave it all off smoothly. I suppose that for those who are waxing, shaving and even lasering the hair off permanently, the lure is that feeling of neatness and cleanliness.

For me, there’s the issue of looking like an underage girl that puts me off going hairless and frankly I kinda like just a little touch of fuzz down there.

Like most of you who are coupled, Mr. SOB and I have tried shaving each other (ages ago to be honest) and I didn’t like him hairless either. Yes, I’ll admit that we both found the idea erotic but after that we both decided that we could live without it.

I’m not a very hairy person anywhere on my body, so I don’t know how I would feel if I had really thick, coarse hair down there. If that was the case, maybe I’d opt to whisk it all off too. What’s your preference?

I did hear about pubic hair barbers that will style your pubes in cute shapes. Isn’t that a bit much for something that is covered up most of the time? Maybe my age is showing.

Tattoo Pride Day

Ok, I don’t have a tattoo, nor do I want one. I’m one of those people who has to think long and hard about something that can’t be changed if I decide I’ve made a huge oops. My daughter has quite a few tattoos and some she really hates. She loved them when she was 19 but now that she’s in her 30’s she has regrets. She’s tried having two of them removed. She says it’s way more painful than having children and will have to think and think and think about it before she tries having anything else removed.

But, apart from my personal opinion about tattoos, I have seen some really gorgeous tattoos here in New Zealand where tattooing is a tradition amongst the Maori people. Their tattoos are their identity and they don’t appreciate their tattoos being copied. One Maori woman explained it this way, “You say that copying our tattoos is a form of flattery, but if someone stole your wallet (your identity) you wouldn’t assume they did it because they wanted to flatter you.” Facial tattoos are not common but nearly everyone has a traditional tattoo somewhere on their body.

The male facial tattoo - Moko - is generally divided into eight sections :

1. Ngakaipikirau (rank). The center forehead area
2. Ngunga (position). Around the brows
3. Uirere (hapu rank). The eyes and nose area
4. Uma (first or second marriage). The temples
5. Raurau (signature). The area under the nose
6. Taiohou (work). The cheek area
7. Wairua (mana). The chin

Here are some cool tattoos to celebrate Tattoo Pride Day, January 11th.
