Do you have a favorite website? Leave a comment to recommend a site that you would be lost without? Don’t leave a laundry list of sites, I only want your favorite. There can only be one best favorite. I know it’s tough because I have quite a few that I’d really miss if they didn’t exist.

Do you have a favorite search engine, recipe site, video site, music site, news site, your bank, tv show or anything else.. what’s your absolute favorite site?

Are you seeking a new relationship or know someone who is? I see and hear from people every day who range from actively seeking to wishing a new love would fall from the sky and miraculously fall in love with them.

One of the most common patterns I see are the people who say, “I’m looking but I doubt I’ll find him (or her.)”

What’s that all about? I’ll tell you what.. they see themselves as losers and that’s the message they are sending out to the world. Because they see themselves as losers they will never attract the best people into their lives.

Think about your own situation or that of a friend of yours. We all know the man or woman who can always get a date. Sadly, we also know the man or woman who seems to be always left out when the dating sides are chosen. The difference is in the first situation, that person knows their desirable and worth dating and they project that to the person they are trying to connect with. In the second situation, that person knows they’re a loser and that’s what they project.

How to stop being a loser?

It’s all about self-talk. If you don’t see yourself as a winner, there are things you can do. To being with, talk to yourself. The job is to go from feeling like a loser to feeling like a winner. You can’t do it overnight but you CAN pretend. When you comb your hair in the mirror, tell yourself how cute you are. When you brush your teeth, look at that face and tell yourself that you’re loveable. In the beginning, put notes on your mirror so you don’t forget. Remember that you’ve spent many years creating this negativity so you’ll need the reminders.

Next, whenever you think a negative thought about yourself, IMMEDIATELY say to yourself, “Stop.. I am NOT (whatever it is you’re thinking). I am (whatever it is you do want to be.)” In a short period of time, you’ll find that the negative thoughts about yourself will change.

These two activities alone will bring you much more confidence and it will show to everyone around you. You’ll find yourself getting a new haircut or a new outfit just because you want to feel good and you know you deserve it.

2. That spot near his shoulder that my head fits in perfectly.
3. The way he will go from daggy to GQ whenever I ask him to.
4. The way he will kill a bug or take out the garbage without having to be asked twice.
5. The way his arms fit around me when he hugs me.
6. The way he can kiss all my fears and anxiety away.
7. The way he never complains when I put my cold feet on his warm legs.
8. The cute way he fishes for compliments when he’s done something special.
9. The way he takes my hand when we’re out somewhere.
10. The way he looks into my eyes when he says he loves me.
11. The way he smiles when he knows I’ve done something just for him.
12. The way he apologizes when he’s done something silly.
13. The way he always remembers to bring me a surprise, even if it’s a piece of gum.
14. The way he smiles at me.
15. The way I miss him when he’s away.
16. The way he treats me as a complete equal.
17. The way he’s kind to others makes me want to be more like him.
18. The way he declares, “I don’t mow grass.”
19. The way he respects me all the time.
20. The way he looks when he wants me bad.

I’ll be glad when he’s home again.

Now that a three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans has overturned a Texas law from the 70s that makes it a crime to promote or sell sex toys in the state, there must be buzzing toys going off all over Texas! With all the problems in the US and around the world to get upset about, why does the government insist on poking its collective nose in our sex lives?

“Whatever one might think or believe about the use of these [sex toy] devices,” Justice Thomas M. Reavley wrote in the 5th Circuit opinion, “government interference with their personal and private use violates the Constitution.

Finally, a judge with a brain in his head.

Part of the ruling says

Just as in Lawrence, the state here wants to use its law to enforce a public moral code by restricting private intimate conduct,” the ruling continued. “This case is not about public sex. It is not about controlling commerce in sex. It is about controlling what people do in the privacy of their own homes because the state is morally opposed to a certain type of of consensual private intimate conduct.

The state government is now deciding whether to appeal the decision to the full board.

Now really, am I hurting the morality of the nation if in the privacy of my own bedroom I use a vibrator? We elect married politicians to make laws that affect both married and single people. Sex is only allowed if you have that piece of paper, otherwise you’re affecting the morality of the nation if you desire sexual gratification. In Texas they can justify worshiping the almighty gun but it’s not ok to be naked or to have sex using a toy. What a society!

I can see it now.. travel to Texas and as you cross the state line you must buy a gun and turn in your sex toys at the border. This is so stupid and it makes you wonder about the sanity of it all.
